Bare root seedlings are ideal for stream restoration and wetland mitigation projects.

Bare root seedlings are only available during the winter months. We are now accepting pre-orders! View our anticipated availability using the above downloads and contact us for specific availability, pricing, or to reserve plants. Additional species may be available next winter.

Seedlings are usually 12-18″ plants lifted from the soil in the fall and winter.  The soil is mostly removed from the roots which are then dipped in a moisture retention polymer.  The plants are stored in bags in a refrigerated building.
