Rhododendron viscosum

Swamp azalea

Rhododendron viscosum is a shrub native throughout the region, occurring primarily in moist habitats. It prefers to grow in full sun to part shade. The showy and fragrant white flowers bloom in late spring and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. Rhododendron viscosum is great for use as a specimen plant in a yard, or for restoration projects.
