Quercus bicolor

Quercus bicolor is an oak native to eastern North America, though largely absent in the southernmost states. It is naturally found in moist to wet soils and prefers to be cultivated that way, although it can tolerate seasonally dry conditions. Quercus bicolor works well for stream restoration projects. Oak acorns are an important food source for much of our wildlife, and oak trees serve as important hosts to much of our butterfly, pollinator, and insect life.
