Hypericum densiflorum

Hypericum densiflorum is a shrub native, though not incredibly common, throughout the southeast. It is naturally found in a range of habitats: from bogs to dry forests. It is best cultivated in full sun to part shade and in moist soils. This shrub has thin green leaves and produces clusters of bright yellow flowers in the summer. These flowers attract many pollinators. Hypericum densiflorum is good as a showy native in a yard or rain garden.
