Dulichium arundinaceum

Dulichium arundinaceum is a sedge native across the southeast, naturally found in wetland sites. It grows best in sun to part shade, and on sites with wet to submerged soils. This sedge has thin green leaves that are arranged around the stem in three rows, hence the common name of Three-way sedge. It can grow up to three feet tall, and is fairly resistant to deer. Dulichium arundinaceum is an excellent plant for restoration projects.
